5.2. Recovering Data from Lost Drive/Unallocated Partition

Stellar Data Recoveryallows you to locate and recover data from the失去了Drive/Unallocated Partitionfrom a connected hard drive. Partition becomesunallocated/RAWwhen a drive letter is not assigned, a partition is accidentally deleted, or a file system is damaged or corrupted. The unallocated partition is not listed under the drives on the PC therefore you cannot access any file from this partition.

With usingStellar Data Recoveryyou can recover your lost data from unallocated space and access your files and folders easily. This function works onRaw Recoveryto recover the lost data from unallocated partition.

Note:Any partition with a file system other than NTFS, FAT, or exFAT will appear as a lost drive or unallocated partition because this edition only supports NTFS, FAT and exFAT file systems.

Steps to recover data from Lost Drive:

  1. RunStellar Data Recovery.

  2. FromSelect What to Recoverscreen, select the type of data i.e.Everything,Documents,Folders&EmailsorMultimediaFiles, you want to recover.

  1. ClickNext.

  2. OnRecover Fromscreen, select失去了Drivefrom theConnected Drivessection.

Note:When there are multiple unallocated spaces on a hard disk, it will appear underConnected Drivesas失去了Drive 1,失去了Drive 2and so on. You can select only one失去了Driveat a time for recovery.

  1. ClickScan. A screen showing the scanning process is displayed.

Note:You can click停止at any point to stop the scanning process.

  1. Once the scanning process is completed, details of the files and folder found are displayed in a dialog box as shown below:
